TECHTASTIC RADIO SHOW
 
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (BGCAA), in partnership with WNAV and the Comcast Foundation, introduced a new technology program this Spring called the Club Tech Radio Show. The radio show taped every Thursday and aired on Sunday’s on WNAV.  One of the most dynamic components of this program was that it allowed youth to write, produce, and host their own radio show while learning the technology that goes into radio programming. With the guidance of Boys & Girls Club staff, and the technical support of WNAV, Club members were given the opportunity and responsibility of creating 30-minute radio shows featuring question and answer sessions with members of the local community.
 
Special thanks to WNAV and the COMCAST FOUNDATION for supporting this initiative and to the LOCAL PARTNERS, listed below, who volunteered to be interviewed and encouraged our youth to succeed. You are an inspiration to our youth and the community.
