The Boys & Girls Clubs’ “Dream Big!” Summer Camp offers a wide array of activities so campers get broad exposure to many areas with opportunities to try new things in a safe and positive environment. Youth will engage in a process of learning through discovery, creative expressions and group work. At our Dream Big Summer Camp learning is largely self-directed. We allow our youth to be drivers and encourage them to be highly engaged in both learning and fun.
All six of our Clubs offer a seven-week Summer Camp which runs from June to August. The cost is $200 for an entire seven-week session and includes breakfast, lunch, arts and crafts, reading programs, sports and recreation, a camp T-shirt and highly trained staff. Each week we will enable young people to gain literacy, math and technology skills while having a great summer experience!
What Is The Boys & Girls Club?
The Boys & Girls Club is more than a place, it’s a “movement”. Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
By reaching children at an early age and providing positive activities and encouragement, Boys & Girls Clubs provide compelling alternatives to youth crime, gang membership, drugs and other negative influences that affect our youth today.
The Summer Camp Experience
Summer Camp at BGCAA is for boys and girls ages five to twelve. Camp runs Monday through Thursday for seven weeks, from June to August. On Fridays, the Clubs offer Field Trips for an extra fee.
What Is Provided
Breakfast, lunch, arts and crafts, sports and recreation, a camp T-shirt and highly trained staff.
Summer Camp registration also includes the cost of an annual membership (regularly $20) for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. The cost of weekly Field Trips is NOT included in the registration fee.
Registration & Fees
The registration fee for the full seven week session is $175 if paid in full by May 17th. The price goes up to $200 on May 18th. Families with multiple Campers should contact their local Club for pricing.
The registration fee may be paid in installments starting as early as March 12. Please contact your local Club to work out a payment plan or pay online. Space is limited so please register early.
Pre-care: 7:00 a.m.— 9:00 a.m. - $5/day per camper
Post-care: 4:00 p.m.— 6:00 p.m. - $5/day per camper
Field Trips range from $10 to $30 and usually take place on Fridays
